![]() | A Day of Learning with the Center for Leadership Impact Featuring Drew Williams This one day event will help to create innovative strategies for the multiplication of ministry. While these include getting outside the "building" literally, they also mean thinking outside the box about how to do traditional ministry and evangelism. Date: Thursday, April 14, 2010, 9am to 3pm. Drew Williams was a corporate litigator in the UK with no church aspirations whatsoever! Then God changed all of that. Though he and his wife, Elena had no personal faith at the time, they decided to attend their local Anglican Church just to try to meet some of their neighbors. Much to their surprise, they found themselves drawn into something far deeper, and ultimately came to a living faith in God through the love, support and friendship of that congregation, wholeheartedly giving their lives to Jesus Christ. Drew was ordained with the Church of England in 2000 and for six years was Associate Vicar of St. Andrew's in Chorleywook, UK. His particular area of focus at St. Andrew's was to develop and oversee a new outreach strategy through the creation and support of Mission Shaped Communities (MSC's). These lay-led MSC's broadened and multiplied the ministry of the congregation and led to significant growth in both depth and numbers. Cost: $39 (includes lunch, CEU's are an additional $10. CD Sets will be available for $15) Links: Online Registration is closed for this event For any additional information, please contact Katie Willey at |
